Lake Texoma Summer Striper Fishing with Adventure Texoma Outdoors
LAKE TEXOMA IS ON FIRE! The big fish have shown back up in big numbers here lately. If you would have told me last year that we would be having this kind of fishing this year I would have laughed and said maybe in a few years. The last two years have both had great spawns and the biologists say this year has produced another great spawn as well. That means the fishing here is gonna just keep getting better folks. The Texoma summer striper pattern has started and we are already seeing big bait balls in the middle of the lake of 3/4 to 1″ threadfin shad. Stripers are blowing up on top chasing them making for exciting action-packed fishing. The striper fish I am catching are spitting them up as they come onto the boat. I am fishing big slabs in 30-70 ft. and releasing lots of big fish daily. I’m now booking trips for August. My dates are filling up fast so don’t wait to book. It’s been another great week here on Beautiful Lake Texoma!

How to Striper Fish Texoma in the Summer
July Striper fishing has been great on Lake Texoma! We have been catching a few big fish throughout the summer which is normally one of the tougher times of year for me. Fall is just around the corner and the gulls are already starting to show up. They really help us find those feeding fish. If the summer pattern is any kind of indicator to how the fishing will be this fall and winter, it should be off the hook. I’ve been using P-line assassin jigs to catch the bigger fish in 2-3 oz. and I’m catching big numbers on 1/2 oz to 3/4 oz coho minnows made by Reaxtion Lures. Cooler weather and excellent fishing await anglers here on Lake Texoma this fall so call your favorite guide and get out here on the water. Lake Texoma Striper Report; Summer is fading, but fishing remains very good! The fishing is still awesome and as the kids get ready to go back to school, my calendar is starting to open up a little. I have some weekend dates left this month due to cancellations and some Sundays left in September as well. I’m not catching quite as many big striper fish as I was getting a couple months ago but the numbers are really good lately. Most days we are boating over 100 fish. I’ve been fishing large slabs to get the big fish and topwaters and swimbaits are very productive for boxfish. Fall will be here before we know it bringing in cooler temperatures and lots of seagulls to point the way to feeding fish. It’s been another great week here on Beautiful Lake Texoma.
